Back from UnGagged

We learned a lot about SEO and digital marketing at this year’s UnGagged conference.

We were at the UnGagged conference – an exclusive event open to just 250 people – earlier this week. It was a great opportunity to network with interesting people from all over the world. We were also impressed with the speakers.

The conference focused on search engine optimization and digital marketing. One of our favorite presentations had to do with brand marketing and how it relates to Google traffic. We plan to use this knowledge to readjust some of our KPIs.

Another forum we liked talked about the future of generic top-level domains (gTLDs), like .BANK or .CLUB. Apparently a lot of companies are turning their brand name into their URL’s top-level domain. The forum also discussed country code top-level domains (ccTLDs), which we found interesting because we’re about to launch a new small business site that uses one of those. More on that later …

We’re excited to implement some of the ideas we learned about at this conference. We expect these tips – combined other information we’ve acquired -- will help us take some of our smaller properties to the next level.
