Account Manager

You would help us build relationships with important clients. You'd be responsible for recruiting exceptional lenders to our network, as well as fostering solid business relations with them.

Job Requirements

You should be able to:

  • Contact and develop relationships with prospects via phone, email, etc.
  • Increase sales opportunities by brokering relationships between clients
  • Monitor trends and patterns from online marketing efforts
  • Provide performance evaluation and optimization suggestions to clients based on analytics
  • Optimize campaign performances and find areas for optimization
  • Act as the main contact for assigned clients and work with them to form creative strategies, objectives, and metrics
  • Manage lender requests

Your current skills should include:

  • You have excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at one time
  • You have strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
  • You have solid verbal and written communication skills
  • You would describe yourself as, "internet savvy"
  • You must be a critical thinker and be able to problem solve
  • You must be open to travel to industry conventions as a company representative
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent years of relevant experience) is required.
  • At least 2 years experience as an Account Manager, preferably with experience in the short-term lending and/or mortgage vertical
  • A minimum of 1-year experience using data sets to optimize campaigns.
  • Experience with partnership, referral, or affiliate marketing, as well as sales/account management
  • Worked with online affiliate and referral models including CPA, CPC, CPL, and CPM

The Actuary Analyst will lead the analysis, research, and enhancement of actuarial processes that directly impact financial outcomes.

Job Requirements

You should be able to:

  • Prepare routine to complex internal management information and actuarial/financial reports and/or external filings
  • Respond to questions regarding internal reports and/or external filings.
  • Assist in conducting actuarial analysis for rate-making purposes on existing and new products, using the concepts of trend, development, and credibility, as appropriate.
  • Make efficient use of automation tools to improve the timeliness, accuracy, and content of reports.
  • Build working knowledge of relevant industry data, internal data, company operations, systems, and actuarial methodologies.
  • Perform various actuarial and financial reporting tasks that are of a mathematical and quantitative nature.
  • Prepare and analyzes schedules of statistics, financial statements, premiums, and loss reserves.
  • Document and verifies the factors used in related computations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, actuarial science, statistics, or related field
  • At least 1 year of experience as an actuarial analyst
  • Experience with R, Python, SQL preferred
  • Insurance Knowledge desirable
  • Actuary certification is a plus

The VP of Product will provide subject matter expertise, help shape product vision, execute timely product launches, facilitate team collaboration, and provide product feedback within an empowered, cross-functional team.

What We Expect From You
  • Align and collaborate with Dot818’s content, sales, and data analytics departments to develop a product strategy that supports company goals to grow audience, engagement, and revenue
  • Partner with sales and data teams to plan, iterate and deliver new products to Dot818’s active audience
  • Work with our data scientists to get to the root of how products are performing and uncover opportunities to improve
  • Lead product training, gather feedback, and prioritize improvements
  • Leverage multiple analytics tools to gauge product effectiveness and ongoing health

What We Are Looking For
  • 8+ years of experience in product management as an individual contributor and team manager in SaaS, fintech/mar-tech, startup backgrounds preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science or equivalent
  • A proven track record in a similar role managing and structuring complex products
  • Inspiring character with a pragmatic, hands-on mentality.
