Independent Sales Representative

We are looking for a talented and results-driven Independent Sales Representative to help us expand our SaaS platform by acquiring new clients.

As an Independent Sales Representative, your main responsibilities will be to develop and execute strategic plans and generate new leads using your existing network.

Responsibilities:
  • Prospect and identify potential clients/customers within the assigned industry segment.
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline through effective lead generation and nurturing activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and potential and existing clients.
  • Identify and develop strategies for new business opportunities and market trends.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients to showcase the benefits and features of the company's software products.
  • Customize sales proposals and negotiate contracts to close deals and achieve sales targets.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients and manage the sales cycle from initial contact to contract signing.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and deal progress using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software.
  • Conduct live online product demos to demonstrate our platform’s functionality and features.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, computer science, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in software sales or related fields with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex software products and services and articulate their value to clients.
  • Proven negotiation and closing skills with experience negotiating complex contracts and pricing agreements.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of the software industry, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Existing network within the lending industry.
  • Working experience with credit bureaus and underwriting sales services.
  • Understanding of industry-specific trends and landscapes, specifically dealing with large lenders, credit bureaus, and financial institutions.
  • Preferred - underwriting sales experience, dealing with large lenders using underwriting tools.

  • Comprehensive understanding of E-commerce/Cart operations, enabling strategic alignment with industry practices.
  • Advanced capabilities in credit risk prediction and management, contributing to sound decision-making.
  • Expertise in effectively handling Point-of-Sale (POS) loans and optimizing the customer experience.
  • Extensive experience in consumer underwriting, demonstrating a nuanced grasp of risk assessment.
  • Familiarity operating within secondary markets, leveraging insights for strategic positioning.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field. (MBA preferred)
  • Demonstrated history as a proficient product manager within the banking or financial services sector.
  • Robust comprehension of banking products, services, and dynamic market trends.
  • Profound awareness of regulatory and compliance requisites for banking products, ensuring adherence.
  • Exceptional aptitude for project management and organization, driving efficient execution.
